Respect for All

Respect for All

The NYCPS Respect for All (RFA) program was launched in 2007 to build the capacity of staff and students to actively promote a community of inclusion in each of our schools. The importance of promoting respect for diversity in our daily practice is vital to creating and sustaining an inclusive school climate and culture in each of our schools so that all students feel valued, supported and safe.

The New York Public Schools Anti-Bullying campaign, Kindness over Bullies, is dedicated to building a school culture where respect, inclusion and safety are non-negotiable. By empowering students as upstanders, we inspire them to take an active role in promoting respect for differences, confronting bullying head-on, and fostering a truly supportive, bully-free environment.

Respect for All Week is February 8–12, 2027.
